Rough shapes in this market: an emptied studio off Peachtree is usually a quarter, $241. A furnished one-bedroom in Old Fourth Ward is around three-eighths, $338. A two-bedroom with a den in Brookhaven runs a half, $431. A fully furnished three-bedroom with a storage unit attached gets to three-quarters or a full truck.
Minimum visit is $75, and disposal is included at every tier.

The rule of thumb: under about eight or nine items, count them. Beyond that, the truck ladder is simpler and usually lands lower.
Atlanta's three kinds of apartment, and why they price differently in effort
The tower. Midtown and Buckhead high-rises along Peachtree, plus Downtown and Atlantic Station. These need a certificate of insurance on file before management will let a crew work, a reserved freight elevator window, and a loading dock slot. The paperwork is the job; the furniture is the easy part.
The five-over-one. The newer wood-frame-over-podium buildings along the BeltLine, Howell Mill, West Midtown and the Upper Westside. Service elevator, garage staging, and almost always a low garage clearance that keeps a box truck outside on the street. Longer carry, same price.
The garden apartment. Two- and three-story walk-ups off Buford Highway, Clairmont, Memorial Drive, Candler Road and across Clarkston and Chamblee. No elevator at all. Everything comes down an exterior stair, often in the open. These are the jobs where a stair fee would hurt, which is exactly why there is not one.
What a flat price protects you from
The number is fixed at booking. It does not move because the unit is on the third floor, because the elevator is out, because the truck had to park on the street, or because the carry across the garage deck is ninety feet.
That matters most for anyone doing this on somebody else's behalf — a property manager doing a turn, a landlord recovering a unit, a relative clearing out from another state. You can put a number in the ledger on Monday and it is still the number on Friday.
Move-out season is real here
Atlanta has a genuine turnover season and it is worth planning around. Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Emory, the AUC schools, Agnes Scott, Oglethorpe and Kennesaw State all empty out in May and refill in August. The corporate relocation flow runs heavier in summer too, and the metro takes in a lot of people every year.
Late July through August is the tightest window in the calendar. Buildings book their freight elevators out weeks ahead, and every lease in a three-block radius seems to end on the same day. If your move-out is in that stretch, book the removal when you book the movers, not after.

Window and portable AC units are an Atlanta specialty. A lot of the older garden-apartment stock and the intown converted buildings still run on them, and tenants leave them behind constantly.
Parking, docks and the arrival window
Tell us the access situation at booking and it gets solved before the truck leaves. Which building, whether there is a dock, whether the freight elevator needs reserving, whether there is a gate code, whether the garage has clearance for a box truck.
The arrival window is fixed, which matters here more than in most cities. A crew crossing from Sandy Springs to Grant Park at 5pm is on the Connector, and if you have reserved a two-hour elevator window you cannot absorb a vague afternoon. You get a confirmed window and a text on approach.
Booking it
Either list the items or pick a truck tier. You will see the total before you commit, and the crew arrives with that number already agreed. Coverage runs ITP through the Perimeter and out to Smyrna, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Duluth, Tucker and the south-side cities.

You move up the truck ladder to the tier that matches what actually goes in. The tiers are published, so there is no mystery in the adjustment.
